Season 6 has finished filming and is estimated to be released next Autumn. S7 is currently being filmed.
 
I'm surprised at some of the middling responses to season 5.

Just binged it over 2 nights, and still really enjoyed it. I think as long as you accept it's not trying to be realistic (the paint pot sequence!) then it's so entertaining. It makes me laugh far more than most comedies I watch.
 
If you can’t wait for the series, then there are the books which imho have the same characters and humour but with more depth.
 
Anyone watched down Cemetery road

In on 7th of 8th episode final later this week.

Great cast again but just fails to bring the same slow horses magic
 
I finished the latest season of Slow Horses last night. Excellent stuff. Yes, the previous seasons were probably a bit better, but I still really enjoyed this one.

Loved Gary Oldman as usual! As he said at the end of the next season preview...

It was ok. It's not terrible. It's good acting, good character building, great cast, but it's just not as good.
The story is average, I think that was holding it back.

It's worth it if there's nothing else for sure, but it wouldn't be my priority.
It feels like something that should have been made B4 slow horses as a practice run .
