Slow puncture - cheap quick fix needed please

Swap it with your spare. And if you cannot afford a few quid for a puncture repair then maybe you should rethink having a car on the road at all, god knows what else you've failed to maintain on it and it could be a real danger to both yourself and everyone else on the road.

things like tyre weld are only temp fixes to get you home you shouldn't be running around on them for months justy get it repaired properly as said £10 fora proper repair isn't gonna kill you :)

It's very well maintained and polished to perfection.

Oh well, at least it's shiny. Too bad you ain't going to be going anywhere with a deflated tyre. Are you saying that in the entire world, you and your partner only have £15 for the next 2 months?

p.s. Nice rig

If it takes 4 days for the pressure to drop then get the missus to spend her £15 on a foot pump and top up the pressure first thing every morning.

You don't need to renew the tyres. Just take it to kwik fit and pay £17 for a puncture repair. Even if the tyre is half worn, you'll still get a good few thousand miles out of them.

Gentlemen,

Short and sweet.

Have a slow puncture that takes 4 days to deflate to <10lbs pressure.
Very short on cash.
Having it bunged is not an option as tyre is over half worn.
Any options - Magic spray stylee I can use to stop it deflating until I can afford new tyres in 2 months?

Thanks for any response.

Sounds like u need a can off tyre weld halfords sell it

If it takes 4 days to go soft, why not just pump it up at any petrol station every few days. It will cost 20p a time maximum.

Then, when you have more money, get the puncture repaired. Really, this is not rocket science.
