Slow puncture - cheap quick fix needed please

When you say the tire is "over half worn" is it still legal ? If not then any repair shop would not repair it and then put it back on the car. If it is still legal then just get it repaired.
 
Theres two options, tire weld (bad idea) or bung (good idea, however, more difficult).
I'd go for the latter, i'm sure you aint working 7 days a week, just go on your day off, in the mean time, keep topping up.
You can find the dosh somewhere, overdraft or something i'm sure.
 
Get some " Oko " as Its known here, its also sold as " Slime " Its a green liquid with small bits of rubber that block up the hole.

You remove the valve plug and squirt some of the Oko into the tyre, then screw the valve back in and inflate,

Its worked on a lot of tyres around the farm, I even put some in my Scooter tyre and it didn't go down again .
