how you do you know what noforce4 drivers to download? on the nividia site there are 4 different ones: intel x16, SLI XE / Ultra intel, series AMD and SLI intel.

i have a gigabyte ga-965p DS3 mobo runnng vista and i want to try new drivers (not vistas own) as raid performance / speed seems really slow - booting up vista is twice as slow as my own pc i built 4 years ago with vista intalled on one PATA hdisk.

the raid in questoin is a striped (raid0) comprising of 2 western digital 80gb SATA2 drives on the gigabyte raid controler. the raid is partitioned with xp / vista dual boot setup - i used the same inital setup gigabyte raid drivers for both OSs on floppy disk (the latest ones from thier site). loading speeds / performance in xp is very fast which i reckon points the finger at bad vista raid / mobo drivers.

any help?

all other performance aspects (in games, benchmarks etc) are fine.

(ignor specs in sig)
