Hi There,
Running a host machine of a Mac Mini (2011, i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 2TB HDD) with a Guest Windows 7 Machine on the SSD with a fixed size 20GB Partition.
All the machine runs fine, good performance etc.
I have the 2TB Drive as a shared folder (Mounted Drive) within the Guest machine.
For some reason, when writing to this mounted drive within the guest machine. write speeds to this disc are incredibly slow - barely over 1.5MB a second. Browsing the folders is fast, but saving files there is obscenely slow. On the host machine, I'm getting write benchmarks of about 90MB a second.
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why it would be so slow, and could suggest some potential options?
