Hi,
On my Windows 7 HTPC it seems very slow to open and flick through photos. They are 12 megapixel ( 2 / 3 Mb ) photos, and quite a lot of photo's per folder.
The files are on my Windows Home Server which is all connected through gigabit switch.
Standard file transfers I get around 30 - 50 mb/sec which is 'ok'
However just viewing photos is soooo slow. So much so that sometimes it is better to copy them down locally and then view them, which is a bit pointless.
Any suggestions ?
