Slow USB 3.0 Speeds

I've got the supersonic xpress and it's awesome. I did a review on OCUK and linked to a thread where I benchmarked it.

Is it an Etron controller on the Gigabyte board? Terrible things, try updating the USB drivers.

Yeah I downloaded the Etron controller driver from Gigabyte website. Is this causing the problem? Should I just use the standard ones windows installs?

Windows won't have a native Etron driver unfortunately. Try these http://www.station-drivers.com/page/etron.htm . I've given up on those Etron controllers for most things and use an NEC or Asmedia solution via PCIe card.

Thanks for those. Installed the newest ones but still only getting 5mb/s on a single large file. Guess I'm outta luck...

Try the usb 2.0 port.

poor controller or slow memory on the pen drive then..
