Afternoon all,

I've got one of those annoying little quirky bugs that's being a nuisance at the moment. I have two external Seagate hard drives connected via USB. Since I've moved over to Windows 7 (HP, 64), when I shut down, if the drives are connected, then the system sits there quite happily for a few minutes doing absolutely nothing, before spinning up the external drives and shutting down. If I remove them, it shuts down fine.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have noticed that Windows 7 has this annoying 'feature' also, it seems to spin down my fixed drives before shutdown where Vista just powered off. Probably just a design choice rather than a bug...
