Anyone know anything about slow worms? (other than the fact they are lizards).

The wife just found one which looks like it has been mauled by a cat. However it is still alive, and not too badly hurt (a couple of tiny puncture wounds). I suspect it will probably die through shock, but is there anything that can be done to improve it's chances?

Stamp on it?

Seriously tho, put it out of its missery.

There used to be hundreds where I used to live. My cats were always bringing them and lizards back.

We used to take them up in the fields and release them in the condition you're describing. They slithered off quite happily.
