i never said quality wasn't effected and it was you who said it doesnt work :confused: what point are you trying to make?

i didnt say it doesnt work.

i said its not always possible, it depends on how far your want it stretched, it may work but is it really worth it when so much quality is lost?

point im trying to make is im not new to this.

i read it as 'wont be the same pitch' not 'wont be exactly the same' so...my bad. Regardless of that though, i only said it wasn't about quality - it's the sort of stuff you do for fun and if your serious you'll be using expensive tools to do it. but who does that? the OP only wanted something for his other half to practice to, not something he could master and sell to the public:)

ah good point. in my eyes though and people who are bothered about quality if i was doing it for my wife and i had to listen to it, id have to make it remotely listenable suppose thats just me. im a bit picky on quality.
