Something wrong there then, Nvidia cards can render FarCry HDR+MSAA as it's fp16 HDR.

thats a no no, fp16 HDR doesnt work with any sort of AA on current Nvidia hardware, the hardware simply isnt there.

Its fp16 that works. Thats what the source engine uses.
Its not true hdr though, current gen nvidia hardware can't support true hdr.

Well, it can support it, just not at the same time as antialiasing.

nvidia i thin can do fp32 which is more precise then fp16

Nvidia cards can render fp32 HDR afaik, just not at the same time as MSAA.

can render 32bit HDR but not at the same time as AA
can render 16bit HDR with AA
