SM961 vs PM961 vs 960 Evo/Pro?

I was wondering, is there much difference in performance between these different drives? I know that the 960 drives are the retail drives, and the 961s are the OEM drives.

Which offers the best performance between the SM and PM? Or is there very little actual difference between them?

I have the PM961 1TB, my mate as the SM961 1TB. We compared benchmarks, not that much at all in it. Not enough to warrant the price difference IMO. I have never thought once that I could do with more disk speed.

For your average home user, the PM961 is plenty. The SM961 is measurably faster in benchmarks, but the kind of workload you'd have to put on it to benefit probably won't ever happen in most homes.
