So...I need to donate my aging Motorola Razr I this month - it's done incredibly well and seems as tough as old boots having been swimming, free-falling and is still going! Only the software seems to slow it down these days.

Anyway, what do I it replace with?

Needs to be similar size ~ 4.7
Needs decent battery life
Camera useful
SD storage useful

Budget £300

Sony Z5C was the contender, but their May £300 price has gone :( Can only find @ £340 now
Thought about a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) - looks average except for decent battery
OnePlus3 is too big.

Cheers

For a tenner, I'm not bothered. So long as it's sourced in UK. Can you link?

Not a bad find. Will this come with a Vodafone bootloader?

you can find it for £310 on gifgaffs website, it involves buying one of their £10 autopup bundles but you can cancel that anytime. Their phones are unlocked and no bundled software from what I know anyway.

Vodaphone however will require you to pay a £20 unlock fee for their phone so thats £249 + £10 for their autotopup sim tariff you must choose and £20 topup. Usually the £20 unlock they charge you is taken out of your credit on the phone and you must wait 30 days from when the sim is inserted into your phone and registers on the network. But that tarrif auto charges you every month.

If you unlock the phone in any other manner apart from their horrid services then you void the 2 years warranty with them directly but I suppose you do always have Sony's 2 years warranty to fall back onto.

Their phone does come with some software installed but its not much and you can disable them if you wish some you can uninstall but not all.
