Hi all,

Just looking for a small'ish Hi-Fi system that I can hook my phone up-to (for music collection) for around the £100. Does not need to be anything special.

Many thanks,

Ahh I see, that could work well, I never knew about active speakers.
Is all volume/bass control done by the phone or are control knobs usually found on these speakers?

What kind of lead would be required for phone connection, presumably AUX type to allow for multiple device use?

Thank you

the edifiers have vomume, bass and treble on the side of the speaker that has the amp in, and come suplied with a 2m cable that you would plug into the headphone socket on your phone, also have two inputs so with a second cable you could have say pc and phone both playing sound at the same time.

thay are very good for the price (even better when on special) have had a pair myself for over 3 years

Edifier R1600T or Microlab Solo6C, would be ideal. If at any point you want to add wireless connection from a phone or tablet, you can get a Bluetooth receiver and connect that to the speakers. Far better than buying one of those cheap nasty £100 micro stereos.

I bought a Sony CMTS20 unit for just this purpose. In fact if you have access to the MM we could probably do a deal on it as I actually never use it ;)

Mods (please edit if you feel this is inappropriate).
