Small MX-5 mods

I had those alloys on my mk2, definitely an improvement. Fill the arches better especially when lowered.

The centre caps are incredibly rare or cost more than the actual wheels to import from Japan.

Yup, still got them.

3 outer rings, 4 inner ones and the tightening tool. All have been refurbed and haven't been used (no caps!), just a bit of dirt from storage in the garage..

Let me know if you want them, I might be able to find the 4th outer ring later.

KYB AGX with Eibach springs fitted. Handling vastly improved, ride hasn't suffered tooooo much, lowness looks amazing :D

Not yet, it was raining on and off all day and the car is filthy. I will take some in the week and post them up :)

So, been a while since I updated this thread!

I'll get some pics up at some point soon but in summary:

KYB AGX suspension was awesome but was too low, I couldn't drive the car anywhere bumpy :( So, I took them off and fitted some Gaz Gold Pro adjustable coilovers and sold the KYBs on. No real difference in handling but I can get over speed bumps again (slowly).

I've also fitted a style bar which really made a difference to the look of the car. Other cosmetic changes include losing the stupid black plastic front number plate mount and fitting some brushed aluminium vent rings. I plan to get some matching ones for the dials too.

Today I fitted a Flyin' Miata Stainless exhaust inc a high flow cat. Picked this up 2nd hand from a guy that had only used it for about 1200 miles before deciding the Mazda wasn't the car for him. I paid a little under half what it would have cost me to import one from the States, so I'm happy with that! Sounds the business too, not loud at idle, lovely mellow note at lower revs and a great howl when giving it some! I've not had chance to fully test yet but early indications are that it doesn't drone at motorway cruising speeds either :D

I've also seemingly mentally committed to fitting a supercharger because today I also binned the standard washer bottle in favour of a Suzuki Cappucino bottle tucked away under the windscreen, freeing up acres of space for the charger...
