I'm looking to build a small server for home use. It'l be used for streaming the few bd's I have to a boxee or wdtv (not 100% sure which); back-ups for 2 pc's and will be using whs 2011 as my programming skills for ubuntu ect are basic at best.
I currently have a 2TB WD Green hd in my main comp that will be re-purpused into the new system along with a 2 TB Seagate HD yet to be purchased.
I've settled on the Lian Li PC-Q25B Mini-ITX Cube though I could possibly go for an older model if necessary.
My question is I need the rest of the build, apart from the ram (2*4 GB already purchased). My budget for the remainder is ~£200 is this possible? Does streaming and backing-up need a powerful kit?
Any recommendations I'm happy to either have Intel/AMD?
