Small Upgrade (Need help fast please)

I found out my budget is lower than I thought and I was thinking to upgrade my current PC, instead of buying a new one.

Any suggestions?

Specs:

CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology EP45-DS3P
GFX Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
RAM: 4GB

I would like to see all available offers (Lower the price the better I guess), I use the PC for Gaming & I would like to increase my FPS in games, and be able to run them in higher detail.

Would also like to run BF3 on medium if I ever consider getting the game.

Note: I'm not experienced in building a whole new computer (i.e removing motherboard & changing everything)

I think the best move would be to overclock the E5300 (should hit at least 3.6Ghz) and a decent graphics card. Need to know your budget and screen resolution before we can spec you a card. What psu do you have?

have you tried overclocking your processor ?

cheapest option would be a second hand q6600 and a new graphics card.

what psu do you have make/model/wattage.

a new 1155 socket, cheapest would set you back :

Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £95.99 (£79.99)

Gigabyte H61M-USB3 Intel H61 (Socket 1155) Motherboard £49.99 (£41.66)

Corsair Value 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Low Voltage Dual-Channel Kit £19.90 (£16.58)

Sub Total : £138.23
Shipping : £9.50
VAT : £29.55
Total : £177.28

graphics card wise new ati 6850 or nvidia 460gtx would set you back about £120.

My 3.4ghz q6600 wasnt much use as gaming upgrade from my 3.8gh E5200.

Sure its better when you come to compile a video edit, or for the 5% of games that use more than 2.5 cores.

they are great overclocking boards.
as you said your psu is just a black box i would upgrade that befor ocing and adding a new gpu:

(£89.99)

(£33.32)

Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM2+/AM3/LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366)
25.99

out of that chip you should get about 3.6ghz (if not more) that should give you a good gaming boost. you could also pick up a cheap q6600 and use that.
if you can strech an extra £30 get the 6870 but the 6850 should be fine for medium quality

With this:

EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

BeQuiet Pure Power L7 530W '80 Plus' Power Supply

Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler

Would I be able to get Medium 60+ fps on BF3?

And if I am right now getting around 40-50 fps in a game called Garry's Mod, would I be getting a lot more after this?

Edit

Just found out my card has nearly the same stats as this just much less memory? :S

740 MHz Core
1836 MHz Shaders
1100 MHz Memory
512 MBytes Memory Size
