Smallest OSX install

I guess I need to keep it on my MBA to install firmware updates etc?

Any tips on how I can shrink my OSX install?

Can I delete the whole applications folder for example?

So need to shrink it as much as possible to give maximum space to windows.

I can get an install down to 4-5gb. For a start you can move your complete user folder to a separate drive. Then take it even further by symlinking folders to other drives.

Thanks, that is a neat idea, I can push most of the stuff onto a USB 3 drive.
