hi,

looking for a decent set of bathroom scales
my current ones give a different weight if you step of and back on them

would prefer a set you could use with your smart phone to keep track or a wifi set but not essential

anyone recommend a set?

I have used the Withings set, was considering buying them to go alongside the withings pulse I own but couldn't justify the cost. They were great.

thanks for the replys, was thinking of the Tanita bc1000, seems a bit of an overkill and stupidly expensive

looks like i might go with the withings-ws30 £80-90 still is quite a lot but they get decent reviews

I've got the top end Withings one and honestly, I'd just get the basic wifi one. The heart rate monitor isn't very reliable and I've yet to find a reason to log air quality.

That said, for weight measurements it seems pretty accurate (or at least, it's consistent) and the automatic logging of measurements is really useful. The Withings smartphone app seems to change every 5 minutes but integrates well with a whole host of other apps.

Can't tell you which ones to buy, I can tell you avoid the fitbit **** ones like the plague. I bought a set and they were absolutely crap. On a hard, flat surface where they never moved you could literally step on them 5 seconds apart and get readings 40lbs apart.

went and purchased the ws-30 set

love the idea of it, weight seems accurate on the scale and the withings website
but when it comes to the app its very poor, the weight is different from the website by a good 3-4 lbs, using android, anyone else had this issue?
