I wish nature didn't involve lifeforms feeding upon other lifeforms, hopefully the technological singularity comes about and frees biological life from such troubles, the conversion of matter into more highly ordered and intelligent forms that run on pure energy must be the next step in evolution of conscious life in the universe!

Also did anyone else think that hawk had a look of guilt about it as it was drowning that poor magpie?

I can't even begin to imagine how her parents must have felt seeing those pics appear online.

Nothing bothers me in the slightest, but if it's a friend or family member, it'd haunt me for life.

I think it did, it was obviously getting nowhere the usual way and would get tired soon - it has a good look around then very quickly drags it over to the water.

It was on that nature watch thing a bit ago so obviously the BBC aren't as squeamish as some of our members.

I literally took me 5 years to get over those beheading videos, I discovered a site full of that stuff and much worse. I'm glad certain things are censored.

true , its harrowing stuff but it happens so im glad theres a little corner of the net that at least brings it to the forefront for debate....

i do apologise for bring up the nikki story its not the happiest in the world and a little off topic but its defaintly worth reading especially if your a driver.
