Smart Brabus Roadster

I quite like the idea of small capacity, high power engines, in lightweight cars.

It's one of the directions I hope future cars go in.

Although I also have a soft-spot for really heavy comfy saloon cars with massive power, like the Lancia Thema 8.32.

Heres a brabus coupe :

I do like the Smart Roadster, used to one have parked outside work for a while, but its just crying out to have turbo-charged Hayabusa motor stuck in it. That's make it plenty fun.

Wash your mouth out and go and buy an MX5 1.8is.

And dont be so silly again.

As I said in the OP, I think they're too bland.

I have looked at a few VX220s and Elises (Elisii?! ;) ) but they are a bit too far out of my price range, at least the decent ones are.

You really need to try a turbo'd version. There's not a lot around s/h as Mazda hasn't made one since the early 90s, but they're ace and IMO a lot more fun than something like a Z4.
