Hi guys
Iv got an Discover O2 Event/interview with o2 on the 23ed of this month and The dress code is smart casual. So is that a nice pair of jeans and a tshirt/shirt or is it a shirt,black pants, and a tie????

shirt, with smart geans, not these tatty things maybe a tank top/jumper like you did for school

for business like one, black trousers with shirt, and a nice pair of shoes


I pretty much war mostly that all the time when going out :p
 
The form of casual smart dress code most often encountered in academic circles includes trousers, cotton shirt, plain colour or with stripes combined with a wool sweater and a jacket.
One of the hallmarks of this style is that brown colour is permitted and indeed even encouraged. Other most common colours include various shades of grey and blue. Black is usually avoided as it is considered too official and thus the province of more formal dress codes
 
If you wear jeans, expect to give a bad first impression in a business environment.

I'd go something along the lines of...

Shoes, suit, no tie
Shoes, smart trousers, shirt, no tie
or similar.
