SMART ECC Error Rate Fail

Just done a SMART check on my HDD's as I'm playing with the Samsung Magician thing, and both my drives pass on everything except this. A cursory Google doesn't turn much up, can anyone explain what 'ECC Error Rate' is and whether the drives are likely to fail soon due to this, or if its just something to be ignored?

error correction code or error checking and correcting

running chkdsk might help fix things idk

It was reformatted last week, and only contains steam games at the minute. I will do.

how old is the drive?

id just keep my eye on it,could be software bug idk

Two yearsish, the other ones older and was removed from a sky box. I haven't noticed any problems and chkdsk came up clean. Weird that its happening across 2 drives, also makes me think software something.

tbh I never even look at smart data,if its gonna fail it will just fail imo
