SMART failure after zeroing drives

Ello,

Quick question.

I've got a bunch of 1TB drives that I have replaced with larger drives.

I am getting ready to sell some of them. I Thought it be best to zero the drives.

So far most of them have zeroed fine - taking 2-3hrs to complete.

One however took over 24hrs to get half way - and it was labelled as SMART Failing.

I take it that this drive is definately borked?

probably; hit bad sectors it did not know were there until you made it read the whoe drive.....

bin it i'd say...

Sounds dead, would see if its under warranty, if not.. bin.
