Hey all,

Before the upgrade I had a DFI SLI-D board and could see the SMART information for all 3 of my hard drives in speedfan (74gb Raptor, 320gb 7200.10, 200gb 7200.7)

But since the upgrade to a Gigabyte DS3 and Core2 Duo system speedfan is now only showing the SMART information for the 200gb 7200.7? Any idea why?

Checked the BIOS and SMART is enabled on all drives.

All I can think of is that the controller that the other two drives are attached to isn't passing the SMART data back but that usually only happens with RAID setups.

Does the DS3 have a second SATA controller as well as the Intel southbridge one?
