My friend who is a gardener/tree surgeon type person managed to crack an fairly new Audi S4 windscreen from corner to corner by running over a bolt with his petrol mower, flew right across the street and right through the middle of the cars glass. Lucky no one was in the way.
It was quite funny because he was telling us about this crime wave on this posh estate of people coming back to their BMWs to find them on bricks. Turns out it was an inside job from someone working at BMW (hence they got passed the locking nut) and would steal the wheels. Anyway saw him a couple of nights later and the first thing he said was 'you know that thing with the BMWs? I found one of the wheel nuts'

I did similar in my garden. Hit a stone and heard it ping. Didn't think anything of it until I switched the lawn mower off and heard a strange noise behind me. Turned around to see one of my french doors shattered and the glass bowing out ready to collapse
