Smelly Chicken

Is it cool to eat chicken that smells a bit? I mean it wafted me when I opened it but didn't smell afterwards. Safe to eat or not? The Use by date is today!

Yes safe it's safe, cooking it will kill the bacteria.

Chicken tends to smell nasty when it nears it's use by date.

Yeh it's okay as long as it's been regrigerated or frozen and thoroughly defrosted.

Make sure you cook it through properly and it should be fine.

I think most modern houses have kitchen sinks now. How I envy them.

Yeah me to. I heard they also have refrigerators! i still keep my chocolate in the toilet bowl, but i thinks it goes off cus it smells a bit
