Smoke Alarm

You can pick your desired combination of alarm types and interlink them here: https://smartdetect.co.uk/

I bought a few of these around the house for various electrics. I may have gone slightly over the top - I figured £160 for 6 alarms for 10 years was fine after a house on the street burnt down (thankfully with nobody inside). Not sure how they compare on cost to other options.

I have the fire angel pro battery interlinked alarms all around the house. Bit more expensive than price in post above though.

Had 1 go wrong and start setting all the alarms off in the middle of the night. They replaced no quibbles.

Aico are the go to brand amongst electricians, we never get any call back with them.

They do various combos of multi sensor including a smoke/heat/CO model.

Do you have existing detectors you need to interlink with or buying new throughout the house?

Second this, recently done a large extension and after doing my research went for both aico smoke and heat alarms (interlinked)

Plus another one for AICO.

We had to have the whole house done after the loft extension. Got multi sensor alarms in the three hallways, heat / co in kitchen and room with open fire. All physically interlinked.

Also got stand alone co alarm near the boiler too.

They do wireless bases - all you need is a permanent power source.

Pretty much agreed as the industry standard I think.
