wasnt there some stories a few years ago of how apple RMA department staff were refusing to work on smoke damaged computers for safety reasons lol?

i used to smoke and the dust inside my pc would be horrible smoke stained and go all gunky..
disgusting and much harder to clean than normal dust

I used to smoke in here before my mac days, and quite frankly the insides of my computers were horrendous, I bought my 09 iMac and haven't smoked in here since, especially as its a git to get into to clean it, not that I ever cleaned my PCs other than a quick blow once in a while, and scraping the gunk from the leading edge of the various fans inside.

Hahaha, that's nothing. In the store I used to work in, we once saw a Mac Mini that was completely clogged up inside. Not only that, but the guy had left a porn DVD stuck in the drive.

The best thing, however, was that he had the audacity to ask for it back. My colleague then proceeded to give it him back while at the bar.

I repair laptops and some of them are quite frankly in appalling condition, a whole years worth of dead skin, cat/dog hairs, random bits of food, hairs, tobacco and the like are not very nice to work on. And this is before you open them up.

Yes i had one and i felt sick after working on the thing, i had to wash my hands after it was so disgusting. All greasy and loads stains on it, filthy disgusting pigs.
