I started smoking cigarettes when i was 11 (something that i'm not proud of)

I quit in September 2004.

Proud moment in my life.

During my college life i started smoking Cigars.

Even now i still have one every so often.

Anyone else smoke cigars every so often?

I only smoke Hamlet's.

I have around 1 every couple of weeks or so.

I'm not addicted and could stop any time but it does calm me down a fair bit etc...

Anyone else the same?

Andy

Nope i find the smoke turns my face green and i have an urge to vomit.

Same with cigarette smoke.

Do you get used to the cigar smoke stench after a while ?

I always end up smoking them at events - i went through about 6 on my stag do, and another half a dozen on my wedding day.

God knows why - i hate the things....

Don't smoke & never have but I can see the appeal of an occasional cigar (which is strange since I think that smoking is an offensive and antisocial habit).

BTW, welcome to the forums Ceareatus! Interesting username, what's the origin of it?

What this gentleman said ^^

I also find that Cigarette smoke makes me feel weird, makes my eyes sore etc.

Edit - Does anyone else get this?

Don't smoke, Never have, never will. Can't stand it. We have people in work who when you walk past them you want to rench as they smell like a bonfire.

I quit smoking in October last year but I wanted to carry on smoking the occasional cigar at appropriate times, such as when drinking brandy after a very expensive meal, at a gentlemans club, or at a celebration.

However, since I stopped smoking I've found that I don't like cigars and so I'm giving away my Havanas to the needy.

I don't mind cigar smoke that much, it's quite nice. But no-way could I put up with it if it was anymore often than once in a blue moon when I smell it. I usually smell them on occassion anyway. Some smell nice, others smell horrid.

I have the remnants of a packet of rum-soaked rough-rolled cigars that I should probably think about throwing away. They look like knobbly old twigs but have a rather pleasant taste!

no, I used to smoke, started young, stoped when I turned 19, still get urges, but they are less and less every year, tbh cut it all out and you'll be all the better for it!

I normally smoke cigs but I bought a box of King Edwards on holiday and I've been chugging through them. I was thinking about buying more but it would cost about £130 for 50 when it was $16 in the States.
