I've recently migrated to the o2 8meg offering and the software that I use for birdcam doesn't now send emails!

This is the result of the software log file
Code:

Any ideas? (Have added an _N to the end of my email address to avoid spam from this post!)

Looks like for some reason the gmail server is now giving a login that it didn't before?!

Was it working before? I think you have to use SSL/TSL (port 993) with gmail and of course authenticate using your full email address as your username. You could try using smtp.o2.co.uk.

Hi mate,

If you're not a static IP customer you wont be able to use port 25 for SMTP as its blocked on the network and you'd have to use relay.o2broadband.co.uk as an SMTP server.
