SN25P + 8800GTS??

Will this card fit in the 25P?

Yep, the 8800's fit in the SN25P's. There's a few posts about this on other forums.

I've not got a link, but I've also read the 8800GTS fits and runs fine in the SN25P. It even fits better than the 7900GTO I've got in my SN25P.

Try Googling someat like:

'Discuss all of Shuttle's line of SFF barebones'

Then search the forums for SN25P 8800 and Bob's yer uncle.

There's also a slightly wicked W/C Shuttle with SLI'd 7900's............

Ive seen an SN25P with the GTX inside so the GTS should fit no problems

But is the power sufficient? I dont want to fork out for a fantastic card to find out that the PSU can't handle it.

if the case and layouts any think like the sn26p

then yes it will fit fine. here is a gtx

I would have thought the power supply would be OK, look at my spec, it's been running fine for a month now, and I'm gradually clocking it too. Oh and the two water coolers for the GFX cards are running from additional molex connectors as I ran out of Shuttle supplied cables.

That is a lot of hardware you've got in your shuttle, good effort

woah well where do I start?

Had a lot of scares when I first put the card in, tried installing the drivers off the BFG disk and it killed my PC (blackscreened) and subsequently I couldn't boot of the hdd!! So then I booted off the XP CD and got windows back, installed the drivers from the web and was up and running..

Performance is really ace in the source engine (thats all I've tried it in so far). 100-200+ fps 1280*1024 all settings on full whack 4xAA 8xAF. Had one slightly worrying crash where all the textures corrupted in source so I quit to desktop and after that it was fine.

Big (and nice) surprise is the card is fairly quiet. Will say more about temps etc later (installing nTune now).

Oh and in about a month I'll be upgrading processor to an X2 4600+ and sticking in 2GB of RAM, so any bottleneck I'm seeing from my current CPU and RAM should be gone
