Snack price up 40% overnight

Slightly annoyed, the price of one of the snacks I have in the afternoon from a well known high street baker has jumped by 40%!

Thats a huge increase in one lump for the same piece of food, it's a tax on the hungry worker

Time to start baking my own snacks??

40% seems a very big price bump to me, what exactly was you buying ? maybe it has been on a special offer or somthing and price has been put back to normal ?

Obviously believe in the same economics as red ken, he lumped the price of a zone1 tube ticket up by 50% for those without oyster cards this year

ok ok so maybe it's not so bad. The 40% increase seems to have moved the product upmarket.

It's bigger, tastier, and actual has chocolate lumps inside. The drawback is now what once filled a hole before tea is quite a big thing to eat.

Prices of a full portion of salad in our *subsidised* canteen used to be 90p, its now £2.50 !!! That was an overnight increase too :mad:
