Nice score kaaps
I have a quick question guys if i may, rather than starting a new thread thought i'd try here.
I'm going to be putting my 290X underwater next week, and my question is:
The max my card can do on Air is around 1240/1500 -1250/1625(depending on benchmark), How does watercooling your GPU help with overclocking?
Does having a low load temp make a card more stable? or is it just the fact that due to lower load temps, you're able to run more voltage thus getting a previously unstable clock, stable?.
It's bugged me for a few days, my thinking is that colder temps must make it more stable, i've ran a benchmark first thing in the morning and completed it successfully, yet at the same clocks and voltage later in the day it failed.
Sorry if it's a dumb question guys, just looking for some clarification to ease my tormented mind.
