The problem is that you can't actually sneak, you will always get detected so you might as well pick up an assault rifle and kill them all in close quarters.

I found the first level quite funny, the fact you shoot the guy and he still lives, for the fact you're meant to hurry and get to him quickly with a crap load of enemies around on alert, how am i supposed to sneak around that and get to my objective quickly through all of that? It just doesn't work.

It's basically a sacrifice for gameplay over detail, despite some levels are pretty much a duplicate of MW2 on the oil rig.

This game fails on more than one level. It actually cannot be played on machines with more than one CPU (as in - socket, not core), and it crashes with "Assertion failed" in Chrome4 physics engine.

Funny you should mention that, i just noticed the (full) game runs strictly on 1 core when i checked the task manager.
I am getting around 35 fps on an i7 and i think it's my processor speed holding me back. With 3 cores just sitting there idling.

Outdated engine if you ask me.

I'm quite enjoying this game, even the MP side of things. There is an update of a big patch coming it's way.

Had problems with blank screen at start-up. Cause: Multiply screens. Remedy: Keep hitting the escape button...it does work.

I absolutely love the visuals, the game in that regard is stunning.

If you are constantly detected when sneaking, try going a different way.I have completed the game on easy and now having a go on Normal.

I agree the AI is not fantastic, but for £17.99,what do you expect, and the visuals are superb.

I finished this last night even tho the AI is quite bad but the visuals are oustanding.. enjoyed my run through ending is a bit poor... kinda random and just ends....

Just finished this and rather liked it tbh....i couldnt appreciate the gfx as much as my pc cant do it on MAX so :/ but yeh worth the £0 i paid :p

It seems they've gone to the Activision school of ripping people off with DLC. What kind of idiot pays 10 euro for 5 multiplayer maps? (well technically we already know the answer to that question)

I was enjoying it, till the part where you're about to get killed and some random rebels jump out from nowhere and kill the guys who were about to kill you. That level seriously annoyed me, if you got detected, restart, not fun.

Just completed this, thoughts below:

+Visually impressive in terms of the outdoors environment, I've always like the Chrome engines
+Decent performance 75+ fps
+Good balance of sniping, stealth and combat (I was worried it would be over stealthy but it lets you do silent kills etc)
+Rewarding kills (gratuitous slo-mo leaves you wanting to shout "BOOM, HEADSHOT!")
+Nice atmosphere in places, sneaking around with tips from your teammate
+Seeing the action from different perspectives is nice
+I quite liked the fact that the missions aren't overlong, generally around 10-20mins each (min was about 4mins, max about 30).

-A bit short overall though, only lasted about 5hrs total (game said 4h17 but obviously I reloaded a few times)
-Weird glitch on one mission where I reached a checkpoint but enemies would be on instant 100% alert as soon as I got in their LOS (even in crawl mode), had to load an earlier save
-Environments are a bit repetitive
-Really bizarre random story twist towards the end
-Close up texture graphics are nothing to write home about, especially in buildings
-FOV is too low
-A few annoying sections playing support where you can't continue until you eliminate certain enemies, but you have no idea where they are so have to spend a couple of minutes randomly scanning (why aren't your teammates spotting for you instead of just asking you to help them?)
-Terrible abrupt ending (it makes MOHAA look good), it definitely looks rushed/incomplete as you even get given a new objective to extract and then it just ends :/

All in all I'm pretty pleased with it given the mediocre reviews it received; unlike Sniper Elite I found it fun to play.
