Can't believe there is no thread for the 2nd most watched sport on TV.

Did anyone see that 17year old Judd Trump ( shame on his parents ). Great talent he is but lost it at the end of his match.

Judd definatly looks like a big talent for the future he's got potting ability he just needs to be a bit more controlled about his game but that will only come with age, It would be good see one of the big name coaches take him on and I think he could be a world champ within a couple of years.

Have to say Ronnie looked dominate in his match a Ding, looked really fluent round the table and never seemed to give ding a chance, Its a shame that ding seemed to just want to pot himself out of trouble after the 2nd frame as it could have been a much better match.

Also I felt sorry for Davis as he showed some great spirit to fight back against parrott, good to see that the veterans still have the talent to compete at that level.

Pick for the tournament has to be Ronnie, if he continues the way he is and keeps it all together then i dont see anyone beating him.

Not much interest in snooker then :p Murphy is 10-8 up against Parrot :( I would love to see Parrot beat him. Been some great snooker so far this tournie and some really bad snooker but you can't really look much further than Ronnie for a champion now if he keeps his head.

I'm loving it - this is the first tournament I've watched properly from the start, normally I start at the quarter or semi finals.

2nd round matches have been a bit shaky - looking forward to seeing how O'Sullivan does. Disappointed to see Parott out like that tonight.

The female ref (Michaela Tabb) is pretty hot too !

Must admit I do love watching the snooker, its a nice calm and relaxed game which you can see some very well played tactical shots. a lot more goes into it then you realise at first.

And yeah the ref is pretty damn fine :D

Anyone watching the O'Brien v Higgins match? O'Brien is killing me with his dullness, whats with the constant safety/snooker attempts. I wish these players wouldnt get so far.

Maguire for the first time looks like he's mentally ready to win it this year, he has looked outstanding thus far.

I can't see anyone other than Maguire, O'Sullivan or Robertson picking this one up.

Not seen Maguire play yet this year so it would be interesting to see how he does. Robertson been playing really well, but its hard for me to see anyone beat O'Sullivan in his form (well Hendry looks like hes back to his old self)...

So for me its between Maguire or O'Sullivan with Hendry as a dark horse...

ps3ud0

The table Hendry and Carter are playing on looks terrible. Hendry just missed a pink that was heading straight for the pocket but it slid off at the last minute. Doesn't look good for him at the moment.

Day and Robertson were complaining about the condition of one of the tables after the first game.

What happened in the Ronnie match I missed it due to an exam, did Robertson play amazing snooker or did Ronnie go nuts?

Haha I thought I was going crazy when they we're banging on about the 147, I could swear I watched him pot a brown.

You could almost hear them squirm when they realised. Just shows how quick they are to kiss this man's arse. Idiots.
