New Snow Patrol Album out Monday. Called 'Eyes Open'

Anyone here pre-ordered it?

Ive heard bits of it upto now, theres a track called 'Chasing Cars', that i personally think is better than 'Run'. :eek:.

I'm listening to 'Chasing Cars' at the moment - i'm incredibly impressed.
 
I loved Final Straw and based on what I've heard so far I will be getting Eyes Open without a doubt.

Snow Patrol are awesome....looking forward to their set at One Big Weekend (I wont be going, but I'll be listening).
 
You're All I Have is an awesome track.

Colin and Edith also played another track from the album a few days ago, "Open your eyes" I think, or something like that.

Sounded fantastic.
 
My order has been dispatched.
But my mates lent me his CD that he ordered because he's out the country (he ordered it from somewhere else and had it delivered to me because he wouldnt have been able to sign for it).
So for the next few days i can listen to it till my copy comes.
Im impressed with it thus far. Very impressed.
Makes me all the more excited about Tuesday (seeing them at the Ritz. :D).

If you mean 'When Its All Over We Have To Clear Up', that was their 2nd album, 'Final Straw' was the 3rd. 'Songs for Polar Bears' was their first.

1 -- 'Songs For Polar Bears'
2 -- 'When Its All Over We Still Have To Clear Up'
3 -- 'Final Straw'
4 -- 'Eyes Open'

Im finding that the following tracks are quite good:
'You're All I Have'
'Hands Open'
'Chasing Cars'
'Beginning To Get To Me'
 
"Chasing cars" is great, "Hands open" is OK, the rest is a bit meh.

Actually I like "The finish line" too.
 
I love the album, Final Straw will be a classic in years to come. Really only started listening to them cause my mate's the keyboard player (Tom).

The new album I think makes you listen as Track 1 (You're All I Have) is such a strong single. You have to listen to all the album to see if there's anything as good. I wasn't disappointed!!
 
Big Snow Patrol fan here. Got Final Straw and loved it. I've pre-ordered Eyes Open and hope to get it on Tuesday or Wednesday. I've only heard "You're All I Have", but it sounds pretty good already.
