Snuff

I don't think anything here is banworthy, banworthy stuff is personal attacks, flagrant apathy of the rules, etc. Not a small step over what is really a blurry grey line.

The question is whether the forum should allow what is legally acceptable, or what is socially acceptable.

Makunouchi you seem to be playing devils advocate this evening, any reason?

Lol, if your suggesting i might be under the influence youre wrong!

youre not wrong from much longer though ^^ ive got mah bill bailey standup ready to roll and my Roor good to go.

Ok well here goes, lets see if i get banned.

Spice is a mixture of different totally legal herbs/roots whatever, and its the only thing ive tried so far that has an effect anywhere near like the illegal stuff (apart from Salvia, but thats a totally different kettle of fish). Now, Spice is totally legal, totally, you can buy it from a head shop or online in the U.K. so if i decide to relax after work with that instead of a glass of wine, is that socially unacceptable?
I find it really wierd that people would slam me for getting high legally (or illegally, i see nothing wrong with cannabis) yet they are happy to go out on a friday night and get blasted down the pub, its very strange, total double standards wouldnt you say?
I dont smoke Spice much though, gives me a headache the next day, which the illegal stuff doesnt.

What you do in your spare time with yourself is totally none of anyone else's business. Just don't endanger your own health and follow expert advice as much as you can. ;)

*Makes some racist jokes, calls all Muslims barbaric idiots and makes fun of gays.* It's just banter. ;)

That's banter. This isn't though =\

I hadn't heard of most of the stuff mentioned in this thread. I feel that I am old enough to know about it, and make a decision not to use it. This is a family forum though, so kids could read about that stuff and try it.

Wheres the quote in your sig from btw? Assuming you didnt make it up yourself.

Nah I didn't make it up, I'm nowhere near that deep. :D

It was from this guy.

We mock straight British white people too, but I guess thats fine as they have it coming eh. ;)
Dunno man, I've actually found myself standing up for "dolers" and "chavs" recently.

I think I'm becoming a soft touch or something.

Never tried snuff but have done snus for many years. Snus is a very scandinavian thing though :p Cant really get it in the UK though.....plus the missus hates it :(

Whats wrong with that though? If its legal whats the difference between that and your first pint at 18?

As I said, social acceptability.

If someone caught their 14 year old son/daughter having a sly bottle of lager, they'd react a lot less intensely than if they had a bong of whatever stuff is mentioned in this thread.

It's not like kids couldn't already find out about these things on the internet if they wanted to. I personally would prefer my kids to be well informed/educated on the risks/benefits of whatever substance. There are always tons of threads about alcohol and bragging about how much people drink on a night out. Discussing snuff/other legal smoking is hardly any different.
