I've tried to give up smoking multiple times and have always failed but just for a bit of an experiment I decided to buy some snuff and I have to admit I'm really enjoying it. I know it is still really bad for you but it has got to be better than smoking and inhaling all of that tar and stuff. It is a hell of a lot cheaper than rolling tobacco as well.

Does anyone else here use snuff and if so do you have recommendations / tips for a newbie?

Snuff? do you mean snus? that swedish chewing tobacco?

Just vape.....

Edit: Googled it, you telling me you sniff tobacco powder? in that case vaping probably is far better alternative.

Chewing tobacco? I don't think I've ever come across any Swedes that chew that stuff :D You make it into a little ball and put it up behind you upper lip and let it absorb into your mouth in some ways (never tried it so not sure how it works after you put it into your mouth)

oldskool thing tbh. used to do it back in the day for a joke. steal my dads snuff snort it then spend 10 minutes sneezing.

And pumping God knows what chemicals into your lungs via a potential hand grenade is healthier how?

Vegetable glycerine, propylene glycol, nicotine, flavourings. That's it. All very well known chemicals. The flavourings are really the least well known, but generally speaking I'd prefer to take my chances with that than the very real risk of cancerous lesions in my mouth with snus.

Potential hand grenade to the same extent that your phone is. Don't buy cheap batteries and devices (and don't stack unprotected batteries in mech mods with no circuit protection) and you'll be fine.

I'll tell you that vaping helped me quit smoking 10 years ago and I haven't looked back.

I believe snuff pushes a lot of the risk into the delivery method i.e. cancer risk of nose and throat goes up. Smoking a pipe raises risk of mouth cancer. For some reason all of those things freak me out worse than lung cancer :(

Snuff is fun though.

I would try giving up smoking again. Yes you may have failed a few times. But perseverance is key. I was the same and thought I couldn't do it, what was key for me was going to a clinic and getting my carbon breath reading done. That gave me a goal and the last attempt in which I succeeded, I found it easy to do. 7 years ago now!

It's debatable how much healthier it is, and I won't get into that. I suggested it as an aid to quitting. A lot of people find it easier to slowly decrease the nicotine content in the vape liquid, until there's none in it. Then you can stop altogether.

Do you want to give more of your hard earned money to a corrupt government?
Do you want to stink?
Do you want horrible yellow teeth?
Do you want to spend your retirement gasping for breath?
Do you like cancer?

Same, My girlfriend and I started smoking at 14 or 15, quit smoking and moved to vaping in 2013 then gave up vaping 2 years ago after gradually dropping down to 0mg from 18mg.

Best thing I ever did.

Grow a pair mate and bang it on the head full stop.
No it's not easy, just do it.
13 months without smoke after smoking for 30 years.
Do i feel any better? No.
If you want to give up be prepared to be wanting a smoke for the rest of your life. The want dosen't go away.
