Who likes it? Who doesn't?

I was extremely sceptical when I first heard the idea, but, after trying it, I really like it. It's much quicker than loading a game up and joining a server that way, and it's all done from the browser, which I personally have open at all times. It means I can leave Battlelog in a tab and jump into a game immediately whenever I feel like it.

Thoughts are welcomed :)

I like it think its a step forward in tems of community and clan building, haven't had any issues (hi ping, server not found, general fault) using chrome. i like it, BUT we need to be able to sort load outs, and setting either in game but dead or in the browser

Why would you want to close the browser when games loads, surely resource use is negligible??

Yay another thread relating to BF3.

Why don't we start a new thread for every single aspect of the game, that would be far better than discussing them in the 279 page thread we already have for Battlefield 3 that's had over 609,000 views, over 22,000 replies and has been going for 2 years.

I much perfer Battlelog to a server browser, because it's so much more than that. I hope many more MP games start to use similar systems in the future.

think its very good feature isnt as bad as some are making out but hey its new and pc nerds love to rage :p

Battlelog needs to go away and only come back when we can change loadouts, key bindings, graphics settings, select teams and select squads without having to load into a game and stand around like a lemon whilst we get sorted.

Also drop zone needs fixing and party join.

Its a nice idea but at the moment very badly thought out.

Because posting everything relating to the game in one 'easy to read' thread means hunting through multiple posts in order to find the ones pertaining to the bit of the game you were talking about.

I like the idea, but don't think it's been perfectly implemented here.

If I'm not actually playing or just faffing about chatting to mates while we find a server. Not having to keep tabbing in and out appeals to me.

The windowed client for LoL works really well for this, but I'm not so sure about having it in a a random browser window that I could end up Alt-F4ing while on another tab.

+1. Must be in the dozens for this week alone. Imagine how it's going to be when it's actually released. :(

Who cares how many threads there are, its not like your still on 56k and have 2meg of ram

Imagine if the official forums had just 1 thread to discuss everything :)

its ok i suppose.

just that when things change from what everyone is used to its hard to get used to it

but in all good time i think it will work ok

It works fine, cant argue with that, but I can't see how it is in anyway better or more efficient than an in-game client. Hvaing to quit the game to change server is downright backwards, and why does it always load in windowed mode!?

Its not bad though the server browser could be a bit better, it routnely shows servers having slots free when they dont, (although that could be people piling in, but i doubt it every time) and it also gives the error "server could not be found" yet after multiple refreshes the servers still showing with that error.
