Just a little rant from me..

Is it just me that hates if they go on a Forum/Messageboard, for example the Fulham Messageboard, it will have people completely slating their own team.

I know it can be true at some point, where you can slate your team for something, but theres fans completely slating new signings, for example Seol - he has barely had a chance to actually prove himself at fulham just yet and there is already people saying he is **** and shouldnt be in the first team.

Another thing, fans slating signings of which the team is looking at, even though its just certain people who dont agree to that.

It could just be the people on the FFC:M but my god does it annoy me.

They call themselves fans of a club, and they dont agree with anything they are doing.

Already they are calling for the sacking of Sanchez, as much as i dont like him, our luck has been against us in many results..it is too early to call the sack on him.

/rant over.

Sorry :p

Dunno I think that since players/managers just don't have that "time" to settle in anymore people demand results straight away. There's a lot less patience in football.

Ferguson's done a cracking job at ManU, but I'd doubt that if he'd joined them now he'd still be in the job as long as he had.

(Hope that makes sense).

Yeah.

Wasnt he up for the sack a fair few years ago?

Remember my dad saying he was nearly sacked in the 90's or so.

Imagine if that happened.

Fans want to see their team do well and everyone has an opinion.
If the team or staff are doing something that goes against an individuals opinions then they are bound to be upset/angry/disappointed/frustrated. Forums seem a good a place as any to vent that frustration.

However, I agree with you in some respects. When Newcastle were losing to Portsmouth, Liverpool etc people here were calling for Big Sam to be sacked. I would say that call is a bit premature.

Does it make them any less of a fan? Not really, they just want what's best for the club in their eyes. Does it make them a bit fool-hardy? Possibly, they are letting their emotions get in the way of seeing practical and logical issues that would otherwise be considered.

Yeah i agree.

But it is the same live too, hearing "You're ****" etc to the manager/players.

Just adds up the annoyment of people doing this :p.

The thought of it makes me feel physically sick. :( I'm going to be gutted when he retires.

Lots of things "almost" never happened to Manu in the nineties but fair play they did. I think it was the FA cup win very early on in his career that saved him from getting the sack.

I agree with the post above - fans do want what's best for their club - but they can get petulant. Just look at any England supporter.

Every forum has its loud mouths who spurt rubbish. It tends to be those that are the most disgruntled who post the most often.

The rovers board is full of it. It's very annoying. A prime example is after yesterdays game, fair enough we got beat at home, it happens. Some people are having a go at Hughes and suggesting he's clueless. Short memories, as the week before he was god.

Dingles in disguise i suspect.

Fulham are similar to Charlton in respect that they gained a lot of fans from their quick success. Think about what your attendances were when you were in division 2 before Al Fayed took over, far worse than Charlton in that respect. Then you go to the Premiership and the other 'fans' tag along because you are doing well and they are usually the ones that demand success and slating the team because thats all they want to see. You get relegated this season and they will all drop off again.

You lot should try being Hearts fans. It's rampant inside our stadium now.

If we're not winning at half time the team get booed off. What these morons hope to achieve is beyond me. With the way our club is being run at present the players need all the support we can give them.

Football has definately lost something since the Prem and CL were formed. Sounds a bit dramatic but I thinks it's lost it's soul..?

It's ALL about money and winning now, nothing else matters. Money ruins everything.
