From what I have heard, purely pub chat that with some of the guys who run PH, its not what you know but who you know, and what access to cars you already have, because there is almost nothing in magazines now.

Most mags are making money via advertising, which is why they have all gone so down hill.

the whole of the motoring industry in the UK is like this.

Its one big boys club.

If your after getting asked to do video work for races, or maybe becomming a trackday instructor, working on a rallyteam etc.. its all about who you know.

Once you get known "to the club" you'll be asked to help out/ be offered work all over the place.
