I just started work in my new premises away from home. I'm on NTL at home, and I just unplugged my PC, took it to the office and connected to a network owned by my mate who's leasing me the office. I can receive e-mail to my ntlworld account without changing any settings, but I can't send. Anyone have any ideas why this would be so? Do I really have to connect via my cable modem at home to send e-mail.

Any ideas (and hopefully solutions) greatly appreciated.

Probably the network interfering with the pop or smtp settings?

AFAIK you can only connect to them if you are on an NTL line, could be wrong there though. I know I cant set up my NTL email in Outlook here at work.

There's nothing much to fear. Takes 10 seconds - as said, change it to the smtp server of the ISP you are using, and all will be well.
