My instructor was amazing. Ex army chap who just laughed at any mistakes.
At first it was weird.. Stalling in the yellow box at the lights, in a blind panic and he's laughing his arse off, but in the end it taught me to relax and I passed first time with 3 minors.
One thing I can relate to is an instructor that gets frustrated. My regular instructor (mentioned earlier) had a family bereavement (his son died) so for about 6 weeks (6 lessons) I had an older instructor that just got annoyed and would constantly shout. Very frustrating when you know you're trying and failing.
