Take a look at the image, those that have a red circle around are not wrote by me, dunno if it is the guy I am talking to, but he said I have open ports and he knows the make of my router etc.. and he is flooding my modem or something?

I'm condused, how is this happening?

Apparently the guy who is using my name is on his lunch break atm, so aint heard anymore :p

Your ISP would probably detect it (I would imagine [if I am understanding this correctly]).

I am assuming that someone is threatening you with a DDos attack; is this correct?

he's probably spoofing the name making it look like you sent it, when infact it was received
 
lol he's probably just changed his display name to the same as yours. I used to do that all the time to get people to 'agree' to things they otherwise weren't agreeing to. It was very funny - until my 13th birthday.
 
Tell him your IP address is 127.0.0.1 and that you want him to prove how l33t he is by deleting your entire hard drive.
 
He's using Windows Messenger Discovery. He isnt hacking your PC. you download it and type !imitate <then your message> and it imitates your name

This was my thoughts too... offer him some lulz if he can do anything more impressive :p
 
Hmm intresting comments, I feel safe now :) The guy I was talking to would let me control his PC to make sure he aint using Windows Messenger Discovery, I am gonna take a look in my router now, surely it would have logged something?

I have a netgear DG834V3.

My mate has this hack on his msn. Its not hacking.

It doesnt work with me though as im on a mac. Just says that he said it on my system.

i dont have the same router as you, but my netgear rp614v3 has an awfull log. it only logs 128 lines, and even then, it only logs stuff like router startup, admin login, failed admin login, and a load of pointless stuff thats not worth logging anyway.
 
Give him a custom nickname, that way it won't matter if he tries to spoof a nick it should still show as the nick you gave him (not sure if you need mess patch or not for that though).
