Obviously not all streaky bacon is like that

. I like both but streaky has more flavour.

Looks absolutely horrid.

Solution = French bread pizza...

Cook the bacon, then halve the baguettes & spread with sauce. Then top with the cheese, add the bacon (chopped), then chuck in the oven for ~9 minutes.

Serve with a few mozzarella sticks on the side (and bin the "chicken fingers").

You're not missing anything. It was cheap breadcrumbed stuff, served messily in a stale baguette.

Very poor attempt at making an 'epic' sandwich. But the only epic thing about it was the fail.
