Right, last night I signed up to the site, ordered my new Mobo, processed everything, great. I checked my email this morning expecting some 'welcome to OCers' or some such email in my mail box. Nothing, nada. Thought nothing of it, maybe they're just behind on authorising emails or something.
So, I come back from work, check my emails, still nothing. I come on to the site, try to log in using my email and password and BAM. 'This email and password do not match'.
Odd, I thought, they should match. It's my regular email and password. So I try and sign up again, using the same email, password and personal details expecting it to be declined. Nope, 'thank you for registering'. Check my email 'welcome to OCers'.
So, basically, I'm starting to panic. I'm beginning to think I've signed up using the wrong email address, or atleast, a typo. It was about 1.30am when I remembered the mobo I wanted was on TWO. So it's not entirely out of the question. I have been known to type a 0 instead of a 9 on occasions, but I checked that, still didn't work.
Now, my main concern is if some random person were to see the email, request the password and then log in using my account, would they then be able to use my credit card details?
Secondly, I'm not sure now if I'm going to be billed for the item I purchased, or even if I'm going to get. It did say transaction complete, but I don't know now if somethings cocked up. I checked my bank account online, and no moneys been taken out yet, but halifax online does seem to take a while to update.
Am I best to contact sales bright and early tomorrow morning?
