Yeah, i suppose you have to listen to music on it as there's no good games on the PC. Tool is good i agree.

yes Jihad made trolling comments in this thread but you are no better for slagging off the PC in a PS3 thread on a console forum with baseless statements.

Only games arriving soon that I'm bothered about on the PS3 are R&C and Everybody's Golf.

Maybe they'll get me to power up my PS3, which has now been dormant for over 2 months.

I agree, it's a shame, but he knew no better :p.

There really aren't many good games on the Playstation 3 and I think you'll be looking at around 12 months from now before you have a good set of games to choose from and a very good online service.

If you really don't want to take the risk with the Xbox360 then that's fair enough, but it does have some huge benefits over the Playstation3, especially with it's catalogue of games, future sports titles (EA) and a superior online service (for now).

Exclusive game wise I'd recommend Motorstorm, Resistance and Ninja Gaiden, unfortunately the 2 former titles there aren't really that good IMO, they are however the best the PS3 offers at the moment. Heavenly Sword demo is out later though, I'm hoping that will be the first Grade A title on the Playstation3 out this year, it looks quite good but still not AAA for me (I hope to be wrong :)).

From a completely none-controversy intended post, and personal opinion, as of right now I'd rather take my chances with an Xbox360 than get a Playstation3.

Don't say that. We just get ignored. We're still looked at as a bunch of kids not worth the importance of moderation but I won't go into reasons why it's nonsense because I'll just get angry.

Werewolf is a phenomenal mod imo, but the fact we are the 2nd most posted forum of OcUK and have one mod with an influence is shocking. It's even one step too far for Gilly I believe, another excellent mod, but he already has too much on his plate basically looking after all of OcUK as it is.

You shouldn't need an extra mod, the problem is that certain people need a little more self control.

Those two games are probably a must-try, if not a must-buy. If you can get a bundle with games you know you'll love then rent those two titles and you can always get them later on :)

Ditto, but Vice Versa ( I don't have a 360 anymore as there was nothing other than Alan Wake which grabbed my somewhat limited attention for future releases ).

LittleBigPlanet
Warhawk
GTAIV
Assassins Creed
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
Haze
Pro Evo 2007

All due out this year I beleive
 
I'd Say get Resistance, Motorstorm and Ninja Gaiden.

All awesome in there own right.

Oblivion is also great, Virtua Fighter 5 is good and F1 is great.

You can get a PS3 with two pads, Motorstorm, RFOM and Vurtua Fighter 5 for £389 with free delivery. I'd say them three are a good start.
 
some of you are really sad tbh.. why do any of you care if someone "insults" your console.. who really cares.. and I dont think Jihad was trolling, its just pointless arguments being started.. your all just as bad as each other..

anyways,, to the op, the 360 is a quality console, not many consoles have the disk scratching thing and there not that loud. If you get one you wont regret it.. the PS3 is good, but not worth it at the moment..

It's not the 'insults' that are annoying, it's when its the same people time and time again that are annoying. If someone doesn't like the Xbox360 that's fine by me. Same with the Playstation3. It's when people who have no basis for opinion on something continually come up with absolute rubbish in every thread, and that's what's annoying people on here.
