Are they likely to make a new engine for a console game?

Surely more profits from regurg using the same engine, and at least that way your console performance is going to be reasonably steady.

I know, they won't because they know they can now release any old crap and it will sell by the millions.

I certainly won't be buying any more of them until they use a new engine though.

It's not just Activision now, you have other companies competing with CoD and relating their future projects towards CoD, most likely so they can bring in more cash than they need, CoD is going to be everywhere soon.
 
Can't say I'd buy this COD tbh. Call of Duty Black Ops was ok, I enjoyed the SP, whilst MP was nothing overly special...

I think I'm done now with cod though, it hasn't progressed much at all since COD4, which was a nice progression from COD2, which in turn progressed nicely from COD. MW2 however removed Dedicated servers and the big thing about Black Ops was that it put them back in...

We'll see what happens, doubt I'll buy a MW3 though. I also have a feeling BF3 is going to be a big let down although many on this forum seem to see it as the second coming... :p
