Agree 100% with this, single player wise MW1 was amazing, MW2 was good, BlOps was average, but then mulitplayer is where the CoD games make their money I guess. Cod = the new FIFA/Madden games, new release every year with updated rosters/guns and little to no gameplay changes.
 
It's going to be really interesting to see the sales figures for the next CoD and BF games and how they compare to the BFBC2 and BO. Hopefully a lot of COD gamers will migrate to BF.
 
I'm not spending a penny after to what happened after BO release. The game was unplayable for weeks if not months for me.

I'm done with the series on PC for sure. I could only perhaps borrow it from a friend for xbox 360.
 
Isnt the next CoD game unlikely to be Modern Warfare 3? Thought the ex inifity ward guys claim they have the MW IP and until the lawsuit is sorted the chances of a new MW game are slim to none

This. Although I could play it (Just) it was so unfinished at release. The state of PC gaming is depressing. I remember walking into GAME or Electronics Boutique (old schooool), and looking through the huge PC games section. Nowadays if you walk into GAME theres a tiny crap PC section shoved into the corner.

Yeah but most pc games sales are downloads now are they not? Is it my imagination or did game and eletronics boutique sell graphics cards?
 
In every GAME store Ive been in, theres always been a surprisingly decent pc game selection. In my nearest, they have 2 shelving units of budget games, and I think 3 shelving units of new games and some random games.

Its gamestation that have shafted pc gamers, leave GAME alone please.

My 2 local game stores have a PC chart section and a budget section that is basically one of those spinny things they usually put guide books in. Not that I've bought a game from a shop in the last 5 years or so :D.

HAHAHA what rubbish! theres 3 in edinburgh and one doesnt even have pc games anymore apart from a new release at the front! my nearest hmv has a better selection. leave game alone!? oh man thats lame

also didnt game buy over gamestation?

Ok in the Game shops ive been to, which are Bangor, Chester, Trafford Centre and Cardiff there has always been a decent (not brilliant, nothing like the console game selections) selection for pc.

So if you live in wales it looks like youre well catered for :)

yeah but a few years ago they were just as big as the console section and about 10 years ago maybe even larger, i was a console gamer and jealous! :D
 
I think GAME and Tesco are the only places in my local town that still stock PC games. HMV did up until a couple years ago but the section just got smaller and smaller until confined to a small shelf in the corner.

Never really bothered with Gamestation as they never really had much and their stores always smelled of wee.
